Inspiration
One of the delights of visiting Theodore Roosevelt Island is the thrill of learning to observe. Wild animals are adept at blending into the environment. The fox was sitting very still in an unexpected place.
On another occasion, a fox appeared almost underfoot. It emerged, a flash of orange, from beneath the boardwalk, quickly padded out to a strip of reeds, crossed the inlet, and disappeared into the woods. We were lucky enough to make a lovely image as it stood briefly on the edge of the reeds.
